Rewiring

Rewiring

New wiring for renovations and new builds. From planning socket locations to testing every circuit.

A fresh foundation for your renovation.

Rewiring is an opportunity to plan electrical points around how the property will actually be used. We work from room layouts, appliance requirements and your renovation schedule to define a practical installation plan.

The scope can cover a specific area or the whole property. Cable routes, access, panel requirements and coordination with other trades are agreed before work starts, with changes recorded as the project develops.

What’s included

Planning the installation

An agreed schedule of sockets, lighting and dedicated equipment connections, along with proposed wiring routes and circuit arrangements. The existing installation is considered when defining partial rewiring work.

First fix, final fit and checks

Installation of the agreed wiring, fitting of selected accessories and relevant checks of completed circuits. Materials, decorative repairs and any work by other trades are identified in the quotation.

How it works

01 / Map your requirements

We review room plans, appliance locations and renovation priorities. This becomes the starting point for the electrical scope.

02 / Coordinate the work

We agree the installation stages, access requirements and coordination with plastering, cabinetry and other trades.

03 / Complete and check

After the first-fix wiring and final accessories are installed, we check the completed work and explain the circuit organisation.

Questions, answered

Can you rewire only one room?

A partial rewire may be possible, depending on how existing circuits serve the property. We assess the connections to the remaining installation first.

Can I stay in the property during the work?

It depends on the scope, access and planned power interruptions. We discuss occupancy and sequencing before agreeing the schedule.

When should electrical planning start?

Ideally before wall finishes, kitchen layouts and major appliances are finalised. Early coordination helps avoid unnecessary changes later.
